New Harbor Boat Basin
Towing an entire marina from Newport to Block Island
In April/June 2019 we completed a project, in collaboration with the Newport Yachting Center, to repopulate the New Harbor Boat Basin with new floating docks for the 2019 season. Five tows, each approximately 140' in length needed to travel the 23nm across Rhode Island Sound to the Boat Basin in Block Island's Great Salt Pond. Despite the challenging maritime conditions of late spring and early summer, the New Harbor Boat Basin now has a full complement of new docks that will serve them well for years to come.
